This microlot was created during a hands-on coffee processing workshop in Chiang Mai in January 2026, jointly hosted by Terra Imports, Bean Born, and Thai coffee producer Mr. Yosniyom. The project brought together several local smallholders who have previously won Cup of Excellence (COE) awards. The coffee farm is situated in a protected watershed primary forest in Mae Daet Noi Village, Chiang Mai, at an altitude of 1,150–1,300 meters. Mr. Yos is dedicated to tribal collaboration and forest sustainability, and he is widely recognized for his strict quality control and expertise in over seven precise fermentation methods. His dedication earned him high COE scores consecutively from 2024 to 2026. During this practical exchange on microbial engineering, a specific batch processed with yeast inoculation was submitted to the 2026 Thailand COE competition, where it successfully took 8th Place as a COE National Winner (NW).
